If you own a Porsche 911 Turbo, Corvette ZR1, R32/R33/R34 Skyline GT-R or just about any of the six-figure European exotics, prepare to be pissed off. Japan's reigning mass-production supercar, just got better. How much better? Let's just say that even owners of '09, '10 and '11 GT-Rs are likely to be envious of the major improvements from the minor-change 2012 Nissan GT-R. Kazutoshi Mizuno, the Chief Vehicle Engineer and Chief Vehicle Specialist for the R35 GT-R, said it would take about three years to fulfill the promise of making the R35 GT-R a worldclass supercar after the first R35s rolled off the assembly line in late 2007. With the 2012 Nissan GT-R, Mizuno-san has lived up to his promise with the 2012 Nissan GT-R.
For the special-invitation long-lead on the 2012 Nissan GT-R, Nissan outdid itself by selecting the most incredible driving routes ever for a street evaluation. Starting from the coast and blazing through the canyons of Central California we experienced a smorgasbord of road types. There was everything from wide-open mile-long straights to the edge-of-the-cliff, "ohshit- we're-going-too-fast" off-camber drop outs. Despite the significant weight of the GT-R, it negotiated any challenge pointed in its way. The additional power and improved power curve delivered more reactive throttle response. In the earlier R35 GT-Rs, the lag of the drive-by-wire controls made the vehicle respond as if the control system had overdosed on cold medicine. With the 2012 GT-R, the driver-to-vehicle connection is now completely online. Improved steering response, improved gear-selection in the AUTO mode and increased brake response were all evident on the road to the racetrack. If you miss that lag in throttle response, a simple swap to the new "SAVE" mode delivers a noticeable reduction to improve fuel efficiency. Finally, the difference in the "COMFORT" mode setting between the 2011 and 2012 GT-R was noticeable with the 2012 doing a much better job of smoothing the bumps.

The Nissan Juke is now for sale in Japan, and many tuning enthusiasts will want to get their hands on the unique half sports car, half SUV from Nissan. It’s been breaking all records according to sales reports, with 5,000 already ordered. Nissan only expected to sell 1,000 units at first, but I guess this fresh new look has attracted buyers from all over. The picture above is a photoshopped image from JDMsociety of what a Juke tuning would look like if sporting Volk TE27 rims, slammed to the ground, and yellow headlights. From the factory the Nissan Juke will carry a 1.6-liter turbo engine with 4WD producing 180 horsepower.

Mary Shelley's Frankenstein grunted to the circuit in 1994. Made by Columbia, Kenneth Branagh sought to remake Mary Shelley's clasic book Frankenstein. Unfortunately, poor casting choices (Robert Deniro as Frankenstein?!?) and a sub-par script sent this film into the giant holes of mediocrity. But the trailer sold it well AND kicked ass.

"Honda enthusiasts can expect the new Jazz to deliver even more value with new exciting styling, enhanced safety and practicality; and with all these enhancement and improvement, we are delighted to maintain Jazz price at RM109,800 (on the road with insurance), so as to offer Honda customers the satisfaction of owning a new, value-for-money and yet premium 5-door hatchback Jazz," said Yoichiro Ueno, Managing Director & CEO of Honda Malaysia.
Since the Jazz model line was added to the Honda range in 2001, more than 3.7 million units have been sold globally. Its popularity and strong sales in the Asia and Oceania region opened up the 5-door hatchback segment in this regional market, and the Jazz has been recognised as a pioneer and trendsetter in its own category.
The Jazz (which is also known as Fit in some countries) has also won many awards for its practical and smart design. Two generations of the Jazz have won the Car of the Year title in Japan (for 2001/2002 and 2007/2008). More significantly, the Jazz was the first Honda to become the best-selling model in Japan when it outsold the Toyota Corolla in 2002. It was an major achievement because the Corolla has been the best-selling model every year for 33 years.
For the latest version, which is imported from Honda Thailand's factory, a more sporty and bold look comes from new front and rear bumpers as well as a new mesh grille. Additionally, the headlights now have silver and matte coloured highlights and are complemented with a set of all front fog lights and rear combination lights.
The cabin, with one of the best-in-class volumes, is also refreshed to complement the new sporty exterior. There's a new colour scheme (a combination of blue and black coloured materials for the seats and door panels) and amber illumination for the speedometer and audio displays.
The improvements for certain utility features have been based on customers' feedback. These include a revised locking knob for the inner door handle with a new orange coloured highlight, new opening sound indicator to the fuel lid, and an orange marker on the air conditioning control, all of which improves recognition, operability and usability of these features.
Honda Malaysia makes no mention of technical changes under the bonnet and the model continues with the proven 1.5-litre i-VTEC engine which produces 120 ps, the highest output in its class. Though certified to higher Euro-4 exhaust emissions standard, the engine is fully compatible with the Malaysian Euro-2M RON95 petrol. A 5-speed automatic transmission is standard.
Jazz drivers will enjoy higher safety levels with Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA) now fitted to the model. VSA comes into action when the car fails to maintain the chosen line through a corner, preventing it from spinning out of control. While it is not intended to allow a driver to take corners faster than what is safe, VSA can prove to be a valuable safety feature that can reduce accidents.
The Jazz utilizes Honda's G-CON Technology for its body structure which designed to spread out and disperse collision impact so as to limit cabin intrusion and effectively minimise injuries to the driver and passengers. Standard with the Jazz are dual SRS airbags, ABS and new safety features including headrests for all three rear passenger seats. The centre occupant also gets a full 3-point safety belt for better restraint. Honda's designers also think of other road-users and the car's exterior design has certain features to minimize injuries to them in a collision.

The Mansory Vincero is the world's only tuned Bugatti Veyron and is perhaps the most wanton display of pure excess seen since Roman times. It comes with 1109bhp, new wheels, a new exhaust and new panels, as well as the restyled front end and the interior that I could live without. These small changes cost an eye-popping €700,000, too. author's note:
Street Racing footage from down in Tampa FL, On my way back to the hotel a supra talked me into a pull, which obviously didn't last very long, but did make for a long night. Wasn't expecting to be arrested, which is why I stopped. The Ford GT did not get towed, they allowed my passenger to drive it away. After 4 hours inside Pinellas County prision I posted my own bail and left sorta annoyed and exhausted. Having been pulled over and released for much worse I was surprised at the police reaction, but hell in their book even if I beat the ticket they know they ruined my night. Blu a rare Macaw (He is the last male of his kind) is forced to leave his homestaste of Minnesota to meet Jewel (She is the last female of her and Blus kind) in Rio De Juinero. Blu first meets Nico and Pedro when he arives at Rio who gives Blu advice about Brazilian ladies. When Blu meets Jewel he takes nico and pedros advice and fails/gets rejected. later that night Blu and Jewel are kidnapped by poachers who think they can sell them for a fortune. Blu and Jewel escape but there forced to walk (since Blu cant fly and he is chained to Jewel.) The poachers pet bird Nigel goes and tells his monkey friend Fernando and tells him and his monkey friends to find and catch Blu and Jewel. After meeting Rafael Blu trys to fly but ends up failing in an near life death experiance. They then run into Nico and Pedro and go to a bird club and dance. Fernando spots them and tells them to come with him. That then sparks a war between Birds and Monkeys. Blu and Jewel get out and meet Rafael and Luiz who then breaks there Blu amd Jewels chain on there leg. As Jewel goes for a fly around rio she gets caught by Nigel. Nico and Pedro tell Blu that Jewel got caught.. Blu then goes to get Jewel.

Wannabe Professional?

When you meet unpublished writers/ author/ illustrator/etc who act like pros, you form the immediate impression that it's only a matter of time before they make it. This impression is not lost on agents and editors.
So what are the marks of a professional?
1. Grooming. Successful writers-in-waiting look professional. They do not come off as slobs or slackers. They dress sharply though unpretentiously. They say you can't judge a book by its cover, but we do it all the time with people. Don't shoot down your first impression by looking unkempt or having stink-breath that can kill low flying birds.
2. Industry knowledge. Professionals know something about their profession. They spend time reading blogs and books and the trades, though not to the exclusion of their writing.
3. To the point. A pro has the ability to focus on what the other person (e.g., an agent) will find valuable and, most important, can deliver that in a concise and persuasive manner. You should be able to tell someone, in 30 seconds or less, what your book is about, in such a way that the person can immediately see its potential.
4. Courtesy. Common courtesy goes a long way. If you have an appointment with an agent, be there two minutes early. When you're done, thank them. Follow up with a short and appropriate e-mail. Don't call them unless you've been invited to. Don't get angry or petulant, even if there's a reason for it. Burning bridges is never a good career move.
5. Take action every day. Over the long haul, a successful professional in any field is always in a growth mode. Always looking for ways to improve, studying, doing, taking action toward goals. When you do this, day after day, you begin to build momentum. That, in turn, will fuel your confidence and keep you going. And there is nothing an unpublished writer needs more than motivation to keep going.
So . . . keep writing. Keep learning. And act like a pro.
